SIMON performed with the London Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Antonio Pappano at the Guildhall in London, England, on October 15, 2024, using the II Cannone that Paganini used during his lifetime. The King, His Majesty, Charles III, attended the concert and received him after the concert.

22-year-old violinist Simon Zhu wins the 57th International Violin Competition “Premio Paganini”.

The young violinist from Germany convinced the jury performing the Brahms Concerto and Concerto n. 1 by Niccolò Paganini, also winning the Special Prize offered by the “Pallavicino” Foundation for the best performance of Niccolò Paganini’s concerto for Violin and Orchestra.

In May 2021, he won the second prize at the Menuhin International Violin Competition in Richmond, USA, as well as the Mozart Special Award and the European Community EMCY Award for his outstanding performance in the Menuhin Competition.
